My stay at Catalunya was impressive due to its outstanding location in the Gothic Quarter. The staff was incredibly helpful, particularly in assisting with my work needs. My room was clean, comfortable with modern amenities, and provided great water pressure in the bathroom. The overall ambiance was quiet, allowing for focused work sessions despite the bustling area outside.
No significant issues encountered.

Clean and quiet environment.
Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning when it clearly stated there would be. We booked a triple room, but they initially placed us in a double and only acknowledged their mistake after I complained. The staff member on duty seemed uninterested in resolving my concerns, leaving me quite disappointed during our stay.

We spent a night in a cozy and clean triple room a few steps from Placa Catalunya, which made it super easy to walk to well-known attractions like the Cathedral of Barcelona and Las Ramblas while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere around us.

The double bed in our room was super comfy, and we loved having a juliette balcony to enjoy the fresh air. There were cozy common areas where we relaxed after a busy day, making it feel like a home away from home. Just a heads up, the street noise can get a bit lively at times, but the windows do a great job of muffling it! 😊

would love to return
Location was fantastic, right by La Rambla and close to the Gothic Quarter. My single room had air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a clean bathroom with modern fittings. Staff was super helpful, giving me local restaurant tips and letting me store my suitcase post-checkout. Also, there was decent wifi and key card access. The quiet street added to the charm.

The Catalunya hotel stands out for its fantastic location near Las Ramblas, making it a breeze to explore nearby attractions. I appreciated the cleanliness of my room, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The daily cleaning service kept everything tidy, and hot water was always available. However, the soundproofing left much to be desired. I could hear everything from the street and other rooms. This made it tough to sleep, especially with noisy neighbors and passing traffic. The furniture felt a bit outdated, and the bed was not very comfortable with its strange thin pillows. The bathroom, while clean, had a shower door issue that led to water spraying everywhere. Lastly, even though there was a safe, it came with an extra charge, which felt unnecessary.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel was clean and comfy, and the location was absolutely perfect for our family. We were just minutes away from Placa de Catalunya and had easy access to local markets and eateries. The staff provided umbrellas when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch!
My kids wished for a pool to enjoy during our stay.

A suitable option for a city trip in Barcelona with good price value. The room was clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. Consider asking for a room away from the street for a quieter stay.
